Provide critical social, emotional, and behavioral support to high school students under a structured drop-in model in a full-time contract role extending through the end of June 2026. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed clinician with a Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling and proven school-based experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual social, emotional, and behavioral counseling to approximately 24 high school students
- Facilitate small group supportive sessions focused on student well-being
- Respond promptly to student crises, providing immediate and effective intervention
- Collaborate with school staff to create a supportive educational environment
- Maintain accurate case records and participate in relevant meetings
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling
- Prior experience working as a school clinician or social worker within a secondary education setting
- Strong crisis management skills and ability to handle sensitive student situations
- Ability to work full-time hours, demonstrating punctuality and reliable transportation
- Successful completion of background fingerprinting and drug screening

- High School setting in Amherst, MA
- Full-time position (35 hours per week)
- Contract duration through June 25, 2026, with immediate start
